School started back for most people in our area this week. That means we are back to our busy schedules, toting kids around town, homework, sports practices and "trying" to get into bed on time. That means that the weekends are the best time to relax and enjoy each others company.
Local Llano is bringing you this easy Zucchini Fritter recipe for your weekend or weeknight meal plans. Bringing your kids into the kitchen is so important, it's the perfect time to show them the skills of cooking and baking, so that they are comfortable in the kitchen later on in life. These Zucchini Fritters are easy to prepare, and the kids can help out with grating the zucchini or mixing in all of the ingredients. You also shouldn't hear much complaining when the kids learn the fritters can be paired with buttermilk or ranch dressing.
If you don't have zucchini on hand for this recipe, don't worry because MOST farmer's markets in your area are still open this weekend. Check out our list of farmers markets for your local Saturday morning trip. You can also download our Farmer's Market Guide at the bottom of this page to give you a printable list plus receive two additional recipes.
